FAQ

  • What do I get when I pay for the Spring Course?

The Spring Course includes 5 modules with 5 video lessons that range from 3 to 6 minutes. That's 125 minutes of direct gardening guidance. Lessons range from garden prep, seeding and planting tips, and plant care and maintenance. It also includes 4 garden chats, which occur bi-weekly with my direct responses to your questions. Finally, there are several downloadables including equipment & tool recommendations, seed recommendations, garden maps and templates, and growing guides.

  • For what level of gardeners is this course?

Our spring course is for beginning or intermediate gardeners. I provide garden templates that beginning gardeners can copy. I also provide the information an intermediate gardener should know when trying to come up with their original designs. If you have never done succession planting before, these are the lessons for you!

  • What equipment or materials do I need to participate in this course?

In the free lessons, I provide a material list with both essential and non-essential but helpful equipment and materials. Download this list before you start the course.

  • In what grow zones is this course appropriate?

The Spring Garden course is appropriate for people who are growing in zones 4, 5, or 6. Other zones may find the information helpful as instruction builds an individuals knowledge on when to plant specific seeds. For example, I use soil temperatures as well as planting dates to help determine when to plant. Our summer course is appropriate for people in all grow zones. Just be sure to check your own soil temps and frost-free dates. Again, I educate you how to do this.

  • What does real-time mean?

Real-time means that the course has been filmed in a way that shows the natural progress of the garden. What I am filming and recommending is what is actually happening in the garden. This means I provide curriculum that is relevant to your garden.
