Grow Your Own Way ($1500 value)
With support and guidance from our resident farmer, Emily, you will create and maintain your own 4 foot by 8 foot raised bed. Hate tomatoes? Don't grow 'em! You will also have access to over 200 sq. ft. of communal growing to deepen your learning.
Course Materials ($500 value)
In addition to weekly workshops, all seeds, vegetable starts, inputs, fertilizer, trellises, garden tools and equipment will be provided for you. Whatever you harvest from your bed, is yours to take home!
Ongoing Care & Maintenance ($500 value)
Between workshops, our resident farmer, Emily, will be nurturing your plants so they reach their maximum potential. No need to worry about pests or drought! You will also have access to the space outside of course hours.
Course Outcomes

Meet Your Instructor
I'm Emily, an experienced urban farmer and lifetime educator passionate about sharing my knowledge with you. I received my education in small scale agriculture from the UMN Farm at the Arb program and have a certificate in sustainable horticulture. I've mastered the art of growing a lot of food in a small space - the 2024 season I grew over 600 lbs. of food in just 1,000 sq. ft. I'm ready to share my knowledge with you!
