Access to nature and healthy, fresh food is a basic human right. Being outside and working with the land is essential to our physical and mental wellbeing. Darling Little Farms aims to increase access to nature and healthy foods through the transformation of urban spaces into micro farms. All will have the opportunity to influence this tiny food system from initial growing to the final prepared meal.
All will have access to natural spaces and growing food no matter their race, ethnicity, gender, ability, sexual orientation, religion, income, age or residence. People will have the knowledge and skills to impact all levels of the food system. Obtaining healthy food will no longer be a privilege but a right.
