About the Course
In this 12 week course we will cover everything from planting to harvest. We will start with crops that prefer early summer temps like root vegetables and greens. Then we will move on to your heat tolerant summer crops like tomatoes, potatoes, beans, winter squash, summer squash, melons, peppers, herbs and flowers. Topics include soil building, crop selection, direct seeding, transplanting, maximizing your space, companion planting, pest identification & management, watering, fertilizing and harvest. You will have say in your learning with opportunities to provide feedback and participate in live Q & As. Lessons will be released on a weekly basis.
